Crash spurs heavy delays on Route 36 in Tinton Falls Sunday afternoon
Motorists heading to Route 36 from the Garden State Parkway should expect heavy delays following a crash Sunday afternoon.
Emergency services units responded to a crash at Route 36 and Hope Road in Tinton Falls shortly before 2:00 p.m., according to a Monmouth County Police, Fire and EMS report.
Firefighters extricated multiple injured occupants from at least one vehicle, the report said.
The extent of injuries was not immediately known.
Delays on Route 36 stretch back to the Garden State Parkway at 2:20 p.m., according to Google Traffic.
