Crash forces closure of PA Turnpike’s Northeast Extension

    Two people are reported to be injured after emergency responders rushed to the scene of an overturned car on the Pennsylvania Turnpike’s Northeast Extension.

    Fox 29 reports the crash forced crews to shut down the lanes of the Northeast Extension while they worked to clear the scene.

    The area where the crash occurred is in Worcester Township in Montgomery County.

    Emergency responders tell Fox 29 two people were ejected from the vehicle – both have been flown to nearby hospitals.

    The closure impacted drivers on I-476 between Mid-County Interchange and Lansdale (Exit #31).
