Councilwoman’s husband could run to replace Jewell Williams in Pa.

    Someone is already eyeing the state seat Jewell Williams will leave when he’s sworn in as Philadelphia’s new sheriff.

    It’s Tomas Sanchez, husband of 7th District Councilwoman Maria Quinones-Sanchez. Heard in the Hall reports Tomas, who currently works at Temple, is “seriously” considering a bid for the 197th District seat.
