Corbett to address first graduating class of Boys’ Latin Charter School

Tom Corbett is back in town. The Pennsylvania governor is in Philadelphia today to talk to graduating students at Boys’ Latin of Philadelphia Charter School.

The guv, who’s facing criticism for his severe education funding cuts, will be the school’s first commencement speaker, as the Class of 2011 is the school’s first graduating class.

The West Philadelphia school opened in 2007 despite opposition from groups who felt the boys-only school was unfair.
