Corbett reportedly takes over as Delaware River Port Authority chariman

Pa. Gov. Tom Corbett has taken over as the chairman of the Delaware River Port Authority. He replaces John Estey, a friend to former Gov. Ed Rendell.

Fox29 reports the news, which would give Corbett the legal power to appoint eight of the 16 board members to the agency and set the agency’s agenda. It’s a non-paying position.
