Contract approved

Warminster supervisors Monday voted to accept a new police contract in a 3-1 vote. The contract is part of the new budget, which is slated for a vote tonight.

As part of the contract, police salaries will freeze for 2011, but 2012, 2013 and 2014 will bring 4 percent raises, the Bucks County Courier Time reports. Officers will not pay toward health care premiums, but will pay co-pays for doctor visits and prescriptions.
