Norristown Area School Board gives green light on several projects, contracts

Contracts and projects worth millions of dollars were approved by the Norristown Area School Board, including construction projects, coaching for teachers and a redesign of the district’s website.

According to The Times Herald, the projects were given the green light during last night’s board meeting.

The board approved a nine-classroom addition to Norristown Area High School, which The Times Herald says is worth more than $3 million.

In addition, the school board approved a $1 million, one-year contract for teacher coaching at the high school to help improve instructional performance.
