Construction begins on Philly’s first LGBT-friendly senior housing complex

    A groundbreaking ceremony was held yesterday for Philadelphia’s first LGBT-friendly senior housing complex.

    According to NBC10, the project will feature 56 one-bedroom units and is slated for completion by the end of 2013.

    The six-story building to be erected on 13th Street will also offer a 5,000-square-foot enclosed courtyard and 2,000 square feet of rentable ground floor retail space.
