More sun and less wind are expected for the remainder of your Sunday.

High pressure to the north continues to nudge the stubborn coastal low to the south, but the gusty onshore flow continues. However, wind speeds will slowly decrease throughout the day. Drier air continues to move down from north to south. Temperatures are currently in the mid to upper 60s throughout the Garden State.

Monday and Tuesday will bring much relief to those who have been missing consecutive days of sunshine. Both days will be mostly sunny with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. A chance of showers returns for Wednesday and Thursday, tentatively clearing for Friday. Next weekend looks ok.

But if you’ve been waiting for normal temperatures, that won’t happen this week. Temperatures will be 5 to 10 degrees above normal during the workweek, with temperatures as much as 12 degrees above normal Wednesday and Thursday.
