Community health providers partner for 2012 Roxborough Health Fair

This Saturday, Lyceum Physical Medicine and Roxborough Community Acupuncture will host the second annual Roxborough Health Fair from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event, which was created to familiarize the community with health care providers in the area, is free to the public.

However, guests are asked to donate non-perishable items that will benefit the North Light Community Center, which has been serving the area for 75 years by assisting families living in the area and neighboring communities such as Manayunk, East Falls, Andorra and Wissahickon.

“If people are looking for some help and aren’t sure where to turn, this is a good opportunity to see a lot of different types of specialties in one place,” said Dr. William Pezzollo, Lyceum Physical Medicine’s manager.
