Community bank celebrated in Lewes
Senator Carper and Congressman Carney will highlight the Community Bank Delaware in Lewes for its efforts to help small businesses.
The bank has loaned nearly $6 million through the U.S. Treasury’s Small Business Lending Fund program to help businesses create jobs. Keith Parsell, who owns Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, is one of the businessmen who have been helped by the loan fund, and will talk at today’s event about how it works.
