2016 Collingswood May Fair returns Saturday

20160517 may 28 250Memorial Day Weekend means the return of Collingswood’s May Fair. Now in it’s 37th year, the annual event will bring an estimated 50,000 people to the borough on Saturday, May 28, 2016.

Billed as “one mile of awesome family fun”, the event has grown so much since its inception as a modest clothesline art exhibit that last year its footprint was expanded.

Handmade art and crafts are at the heart of the fair and more than 200 vendors will line Collingwood’s main drag.

Music is another highlight, with five stages of live entertainment ranging from ska, rock, blues, jazz, and acoustic acts, like The Hackbeats, Hotsy Totsy, Coyote Jack and Pearl Street.
