Coast Guard searching for commercial fisherman in open sea off Manasquan

    The Coast Guard is searching for a commercial fisherman from Virginia who apparently fell overboard. 

    Thirty-year-old Renee Lopez of Newport News, Va., was reported missing from the fishing vessel Yvonne Michelle approximately 45 miles east of the Manasquan Inlet around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

    The Coast Guard dispatched two MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crews, a 47-foot Motor Life Boat crew, and an 87-foot Coast Guard Cutter Mako after Lopez was reported missing yesterday, The Star-Ledger reported

    Today’s search involves a helicopter and a boat.
