Winter ball

We couldn’t care less about the Cleveland Indians. Their ballpark, on the other hand, is being transformed into what looks like the greatest winter amusement park ever.

We found this on Philadelphia Speaks, where the story has not generated much buzz yet, but it caught our interest. Progressive Field will host Snow Days from Nov. 26 until Jan. 2.

What typically hosts sweaty, hot-dog consuming baseball fans watching a bunch of guys throw a ball around will become a winter wonderland that features a skating track, walking trail, tubing hill, children’s area, concessions and a fire pit.

The Snow Days season will end with a New Years Eve celebration, as reported on Cleveland’s WTAM.
