Weds, Dec 29
7200 block Sommers Rd. – watch, ring, and bracelet were stolen from the property. Complainant said the items were taken during a Christmas party Dec. 25. between 6-10 p.m.
6700 block Emlen St. – Access card worth approx. $300 was stolen from the property between 9-9:30 p.m. Dec. 28.
7700 block Navajo St. – a pair of diamond earrings was stolen from the property. Complainant said the earrings were taken during a Christmas party.
Thurs, Dec 30
900 block Church Ln. – 9MM rifle was stolen from a bedroom. The front door was forced open. Nothing else was taken.
Unit block W. Pomona St. – complainant said an acquaintance began biting him and hitting with wooden hammer after a verbal dispute. The offender was arrested and taken to the Northwest Detectives Division.
200 block W. Johnson St. – IBM laptop, two digital cameras, credit cards and more were stolen from a 2007 Dodge.
Fri, Dec 31
7700 block Cedarbrook Ave. – 2000 Ford Expo stolen.
1900 block Plymouth St. – complainant said her ex-boyfriend pulled a gun on her after she let him into the house. Complainant was able to calm him down and get him to leave.
2400 block 75th Ave. – handgun was stolen from a closet. Complainant said she noticed the firearm was missing shortly after her daughter went missing. Ammunition was left behind and the trigger has a lock on it.
7800 block Bayard St. – 2008 Toyota Tundra stolen.
Sat, Jan 1
2100 block Haines St. – Sony DVD player stolen from a vehicle-trailer between Dec. 20 and Jan.1.
7300 block Thouron Ave. – four boxes of invitations stolen from a 2005 Honda Pilot.
1300 block E. Washington Ln. – IBM Laptop, computer screen, drivers license and debit card
6700 block Musgrave St. – complainant said her boyfriend hit her after an argument on New Year’s Eve. He then tried to ram his vehicle into her car.
Chew Ave. / Montana St. – complainant said an acquaintance entered a room while she was having consensual sex with someone else, held her down and raped her. The other male had previously left the room.
Sun, Jan 2
1500 block Beverly Rd. – iPod Touch and two pairs of UGG boots were stolen from the property. Complainant said she came home to find her place ransacked. She said she’s been having an on-going dispute with an ex-boyfriend and that she received a text message from his brother that asked if she had been home yet.
2000 block 68th St. – complainant said her boyfriend punched her in the face during a dispute.
900 block E. Johnson St. – 2010 Toyota Camry stolen between 7 p.m. Jan.1 and 11 a.m. Jan.2.
6300 block Germantown Ave. – cigarettes, cigars, t-shirts, money from the register, ATM and more were stolen from a food market between 7 p.m. Jan. 1 and 10:30 a.m. Jan. 2.
Mon, Jan 3
7800 block Gilbert St. – 1997 Ford Expedition stolen. Complainant said her boyfriend took her car without her permission.
7700 block Michener Ave. – shoes, CDs, an iPOD and various bags were stolen from a 2008 Lexus ES350. Complainant said she was warming up her car that has an automatic start.
600 block Vernon Rd. – ATM card and $700 stolen from the property between 12:30-5:45 a.m. Jan. 3. Complainant said someone tampered with the front door lock.
5300 block Chew Ave. – six cartons of Newport cigarettes were stolen from a Rite Aid. Manager said the offender walked behind the counter, grabbed the smokes and fled the scene.
Unit block E. Coulter St. – complainant said her brother choked her and threw her to the ground so hard she couldn’t get up. Complainant was taken to the hospital. Offender was arrested and taken to the Northwest Detectives Division.
300 block E. Bringhurst St. – 2008 Ford Explorer stolen. Complainant said she lent someone her car and it hasn’t been returned.
300 block E. Haines St. – complainant said an acquaintance choked and beat her up following a heated argument the day before.
200 block E. Wister St. – complainant said his girlfriend fired a gun while the two were arguing on the street. The offender was taken to the Northwest Detectives Division.
700 block E. Rittenhouse St. – a man was murdered. Police responded to a call from a witness who found a man shot several times in the chest and head. See related story.
6300 block McCallum St. – Complainant said someone stole her pocketbook while she was at a party. The bag contained WIC checks, $500, a social security card and an Access card.
8000 block Roanoke St. – various jewelry and an HP laptop were stolen from the property. Complainant said he came home around 9 p.m. to find several drawers pulled open in a second floor bedroom. Offender(s) entered through the front door, which had one of its glass panes broken to reach to the lock from inside.
Tues, Jan 4
Homer St. / Hollis St. – 1998 Buick Century containing baby toys was stolen.
7500 block E. Walnut Ln. – complainant said she paid a contractor do work at her house, but he never showed up. She placed several calls with no response. She also said he gave her the address to an abandoned property.
8500 block Provident St. – complainant said while she was walking an acquaintance jumped out of the bushes, hit her in the face and cut her with an unknown object.
900 block Durard St. – Xbox game system, three controllers and 15 games were stolen from the property. Complainant said she and her boyfriend came home and heard noises coming from the back of place. When the boyfriend went to investigate, he found two hooded intruders running out of the house. Police said both the rear and laundry room door were kicked in.
