City releases graphic to illustrate condition of snow-covered streets

The City of Philadelphia released yesterday an illustration depicting the layers of snow and ice on the streets. In other words: a pretty picture to explain why your block is harder to navigate than safari adventure.
Dubbed the “snow sandwich,” recent storms have left us with layers of snow, ice, salt and more snow, resulting in a strange combination of crunchy, lumpy, slippery snow. And there’s more on the way!
