City Council holds first community budget hearing, UArts students collaborate with homeless

    Tom MacDonald is working out the details of Milton Street’s latest run for office. Tonight, Tom will be at Philadelphia City Council’s first community budget hearing.
    Carolyn Beeler is working on a story for Thursday while Maiken Scott wraps up a feature story on last year’s state budget cuts and how they affected some mental health services in Pennsylvania.

    Emma Jacobs will be at today’s DREAM rally, where undocumented minors will expose their illegal status and fight for to become U.S. citizens.

    Peter Crimmins is heading to Abington for a story we’ll hear later in the week abou the Philadelphia Flower Show. Today, he’ll produce a piece on UArts students and the projects they’ve worked on with Philadelphia’s homeless.
