Christie leaves town for undisclosed vacation destination

What to do after you’ve passed a wildly unpopular budget and face insults from the Senate president? Bail.

N.J. Gov. Chris Christie has done just that, heading out of town for a two-week family vacation bookended by a media conference and National Governors Association conference.

But this vacations shouldn’t be as controversial as the last. NJ.com reports Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno is still in town, and as far as we know, there won’t be several feet of snowing greeting the guv upon his return.

Last time Christie vacationed, Senate President Stephen Sweeney was in charge, since Guadagno was also away. But Sweeney and Christie aren’t exactly on speaking terms these days.
