Christie in a jam on the bridge to nowhere

The lane closing scandal in Fort Lee, N.J., will make a great movie. In the aftermath of the so-called Bridgegate affair, Governor Christie hired a few lawyer pals to “investigate” the episode.

Not surprisingly they did their best to make him look good. The Mastro report, unlike, say, the movie “Gravity,” is unlikely to dazzle anyone. It’s just one more in the series of events that have plucked Christie from the stratosphere and brought him crashing to earth.
