Christie heading to Morris Country for town hall event

Gov. Chris Christie heads to Morris County for his latest town hall event.

The potential Republican presidential candidate is expected to continue selling his proposed budget plan for the upcoming fiscal year Tuesday afternoon at the Hanover Township Community Center.

Christie also is expected to continue pushing for new cuts to pension and health benefit costs for public workers.

Christie will be out of state most of the rest of the week, attending fundraisers in Philadelphia and Texas and speaking at the Macomb County Republican Party Lincoln Dinner in Michigan on Friday.
