Christie criticizes Langford’s leadership of Atlantic City

Things got heated once again when NJ Gov. Chris Christie and Atlantic City Mayor Lorenzo Langford exchanged insults over the state-run tourism district in AC.

After refusing to attend Christie’s signing of the bill, Langford likened the district to the South African apartheid, the Press of Atlantic City reports, saying the district will create a geographical boundary in the city separating the “haves and have-nots”

Christie and Senate President Stephen Sweeney lambasted Langford’s comments and questioned his ability to successfully run the city.
