Christiana Mall expansion continues

More than 200 people hired by The Cheesecake Factory which is opening a new location in Delaware today.

The new look of the Christiana Mall continues to take shape today with the grand opening of the upscale restaurant The Cheesecake Factory.  The opening of restaurant will provide more than 200 people.  Earlier this month, Target announced its plans to open a store at the mall in October.

The mall has undergone a rejuvenation over the last year which has seen an overhaul of the mall’s interior and the addition of dozens of new stores.  The mall’s  food court has been completely revamped as well.

While Target is on schedule to open later this year, Nordstrom will open next year.  That 138,000 square foot store will give the mall its fourth anchor.  Other stores scheduled to open in the near future, LEGO, White House Black Market, H & M, and Rockport.
