CHOP adds services with new Abington Memorial Hospital facility

The 4,600-sq. ft. Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Specialty Care Center at Abington Memorial Hospital opened last week as part of CHOP’s treatment programs at the Montgomery County hospital.

The center consolidates CHOP’s cardiology, gastroenterology and pulmonary medicine practices that it’s offered through the hospital for nearly a quarter century.

You can see video of the ribbon cutting from the Glenside News Globe Times Chronicle here.

Aside from doctors and on-site testing facilities, the new center will add consultation services for endocrinology, additional gastroenterology, neonatal follow-up and general surgery later this summer.
