Chestnut Hill teen a good sport after Spelling Bee elimination

Lena Greenberg made it through several rounds of the Scripps National Spelling Bee for her luck ran out.

She tripped on the word geistlich and found herself eliminated last night. But she’s got only good things to say about the Bee.
In an interview with the Inquirer, the Chestnut Hill 14-year said she enjoyed the bee and the other top spellers she met there. Her only regret? Freezing on a word she said she knows.

The championship title went to 14-year-old Snigdha Nandipati of San Diego. She won the 85th annual bee on the word guetapens.
