Chestnut Hill gas station robbed at gunpoint on Saturday

The Shell gas station in Chestnut Hill gas was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night.

At 9:54 p.m., a man with dreadlocks entered the station at 8019 Germantown Ave., pointed a black handgun at a store manager and walked out with $1500 in cash, according to officials with the Philadelphia Police Department.

The offender then fled the scene in a green Chevy Corsica.

No arrests have been made. Police are actively searching for the suspect.
