Cool down this Saturday at the Friends of Wissahickon’s “Ales for Trails” fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The event will be held at the Valley Green Inn located on Forbidden Drive in the Wissahickon Valley Park. It is aslo a sponsor.
The evetn is a pay-as-you-go event, which will feature kegs from Stone Brewery, BBQ favories from the event and hot dogs and hamburgers.
Local artists Chris Kasper, Drew Egmont, Phil D’Agostino and Jack Byers will be providing the live music.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the Friends of Wissahickon to support trail maintenance in the park. For more information, visit the restaurant’s website.
