Delaware man is facing charges after leaving a gun accessible to a 2-year-old. The boy accidentally shot himself in the head in September.

New Castle County Police have charged 34 year old Anthony Graves in connection with the shooting incident on September 29. Graves turned himself in on Thursday.

He’s charged with unlawfully permitting a minor access to a firearm and felony endangering the welfare of a child.

The boy is still hospitalized after he shot himself in the head inside a home on Cliffside Court in the community of Valley Run. Police say the boy is expected to be released from the hospital later this month.
