CDAG to seek more information on the Central Delaware Master Plan at a special meeting next week

The Central Delaware Advocacy Group will hold a special meeting Thursday to get more information about proposals for the Central Delaware Master Plan – the in-progress guide to redeveloping the waterfront from Oregon to Allegheny avenues.

The meeting will be held at 8 a.m. Nov. 4 at the 121 N. Columbus Boulevard offices of the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation – the quasi-city agency that is overseeing the creation of the Master Plan.

CDAG Chairman Steven Weixler said he requested the meeting because CDAG has questions about the proposals that were not answered at the recent public forum. Among the things CDAG wants to discuss: The current proposal for the waterfront setback and more about what the master plan team has in mind for the northern and southern ends of the planning area.
