The Philadelphia Water Department is looking for “spokesdogs” to help spread its clean waterways message.
The department is looking for two dogs, one from Manayunk/Roxborough and one from East Falls, whose images can be used on brocures explaining the importance of picking up pet waste.
Winning dogs will receive a $200 gift card to a local pet store, and will be expected to appear (with their caretakers, of course) at a minimum of three community events to help promote the cause.
If you think your dog qualifies, hurry up and apply. Entries are due Sunday.
