Cape May County man dies in head-on crash in Washington Township, N.J.

Gloucester County authorities say a Cape May County man died after the car he was driving was struck head-on. The crash occurred early Friday in Washington Township.

Authorities say 26-year-old Michael Williams of Woodbine was behind the wheel when a car driven by 27-year-old James Catona of Washington Township crossed the center line on Delsea Drive.

A passenger in Williams’ vehicle and Williams’ 4-year-old son were injured. So was Catona.

Catona is charged with vehicular homicide, assault by auto and hindering apprehension.
