Camden County giving away fans to older residents in need

Listen

Camden County is offering free fans to help older residents through the hot summer ahead.

The fans are available to “individuals over the age of 60 who make less than $25,000,” said Camden County Freeholder Carmen Rodriguez. “The purpose of this program is the health and safety of seniors, making sure we take care of them.”

Rodriguez said qualified residents should call the county’s Division of Senior Services at  856-858-3220 to get a free fan.

About 100 fans are available.
