Bus detours make commute easier for some

For some, bus detours mean a longer walk and longer wait. But some southwest Center City residents are pretty agreeable to the changes to the route 12 bus.

 

Over on the Philly Speaks SWCC forum, member “Brian616” is thrilled the 7, 17 and 12 buses have been making his walk to the stop shorter and cleaning up the street for car traffic.

But “lbphilly” says the detours make it harder for people with mobility issues and the regular route is best when applicable.
