Burglars steal a gun and more from West Oak Lane grocery store [video]

Philadelphia Police have released surveillance video of two unidentified men who allegedly broke into Sam’s Grocery Store on Louise Street in West Oak Lane early Friday morning and stole a variety of items including a 9mm handgun.

Just before 4:30 a.m. Friday, the men forced the grocery store’s rear door open.

Once inside, they “took a Glock 9mm Handgun Model 19 Serial #DLG069, Dell laptop computer, iPad Touch, two cartons of cigarettes and $200 in cash from the cash register,” according to police.

The first suspect is described as a 40-year-old man with full-trimmed beard and mustache. At the time of the break-in, he was wearing a knit hat, blue jacket, blue pants and dirty white sneakers.

The second suspect is thought to be in his 40s and was wearing a fisherman’s hat, possibly a gray sweater, blue pants and black sneakers. He had his face covered with a white cloth, according to police.
