Burglar steals 5 year old’s Christmas gifts
Presents, electronics, jewelry and cash taken from two homes in the Village of Windover Apartments Tuesday.
New Castle County Police say someone forced their way into both homes in the 1700 block of Blatty Place while the residents were away for the day. They say several Christmas presents that were waiting for one of the victim’s 5 year old son were taken. The burglaries were discovered around 4:05 Tuesday afternoon.
Investigators don’t have any information on the identity of the burglar. They’re looking for help from residents. Tips can be called into the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-TIP-3333 or sent by text message to TIP411, just start your message with NCCPD.
