Bullied South Philadelphia High School student heads to the White House

More than a year ago, South Philadelphia High School student Duong Nghe Ly was targeted in racial bullying incidents at his school. Tomorrow, he’ll head to the White House.

Ly will join others who’ve stood up to bullies in their schools for a discussion about bully prevention.

Pres. Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, the Department of Education and Department of Human Services will talk about school policies and programs and cyber bullying with Ly and other students, parents and teachers who’ve gone through similar issues.
