Bruce Springsteen’s son has become a volunteer firefighter in New Jersey.

Sam Springsteen will be a member of the Colts Neck Fire Department in New Jersey.

The 20-year-old graduated from the Monmouth County Fire Academy.

County fire marshal Henry Stryker III tells the Asbury Park Press there’s a lot of physical work and book studies involved in the 188-hour course.
