Bridgeton burglar takes off with $10k in collectibles

Moving being one of three worst chores in life, it probably made perfect sense for a Bridgeton, N.J., man to take his necessary items to a new house first and leave his other stuff behind while he got things settled.

That’s proving to be a costly decision. The News of Cumberland County reports the man left behind baseball cards, a toy train set and some other expensive items that were all stolen in his absence.
The collection is reportedly worth more than $10,000.

He’s not getting any sympathy from commenters on the article, but police are looking for a suspect and accepting tips that might provide a lead.
