Bridge for sale

Halloween would have been a lot more fun if you had your very own bridge to make trick-or-treaters cross.

Never fear, the Christmas carolers are coming. And you can buy your very own bridge.

Upper Salford Township, Pa., is selling a bridge. Yes, a whole bridge. The bridge is being auctioned off by municibid, a government auction site that’s open to the public.

Bidding starts at $100, but it’s almost over! The winning bidder will be recognized at Tuesday night’s meeting of Upper Salford Township leaders.

The bridge is currently in the township, but can moved anywhere, so long as the winner can pay for and organize the move and clean-up by Feb. 28, 2011
