For the first time in weeks, the entire weekend will be dry and mostly sunny, courtesy of a high pressure system exerting control over the region.

If you’re interested in mild temperatures, Saturday is your day. But if crisp fall-like weather is more your style, Sunday will be a treat.

Temperatures will top out in the upper 60s to lower 70s on Saturday, followed by colder air moving in overnight (low temperatures in the upper 40s near the coast), according to the National Weather Service.

Winds will be out of the west on Saturday (up to 20 miles per hour and slightly higher gusts), turning northwest for Sunday (up to 25 miles per hour and slightly higher gusts).

You will wake up to brisk conditions Sunday morning, and afternoon highs will only be in the middle to upper 50s at the shore. Sunday night will be cold at the shore, as temperatures will drop to the lower 40s.
