Breaking the evil stepmother stereotype

Stepmothers get a pretty bad rap. Labeled in movies and in life as wicked, evil, selfish homewreckers, these women are facing a mighty uphill battle.

Joining Radio Times guest host Tracey Matisak today is Rachelle Katz, a psychotherapist who’s counseled women in the role. She’ll talk about her book, The Happy Stepmother: Stay Sane, Empower Yourself, Thrive in Your  New Family. We’ll also hear from stepmother Fern Kupfer, who will talk about her own experiences.

Listen live at 11 a.m. on 91 FM.
