Boys and Girls Club bill awaits Christie’s approval

After unanimously passing the Assembly and the Senate, New Jersey’s bill A-3267 now heads to Gov. Chris Christie’s office.

The bill would create the Boys and Girls Club in New Jersey Fund, which taxpayers could donate to directly. The state’s personal and corporate tax forms would include a check-off box for donations to the fund, the Gloucester County Times reports.

The Assembly approve the bill last month, with Senate approval finalized today.
