If you live near Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, don’t be alarmed by loud booms coming from the installation tomorrow.

A military unit is scheduled to undertake ordnance disposal training from 8 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., according to a military release.

Military officials advise that the base and surrounding communities “may experience moderate ground shaking and considerable noise.”

“This training is essential and helps ensure the readiness of America’s fighting force. Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst works hard to minimize the impact training has on its surrounding communities and is committed to remaining good neighbors,” a military release said.
