The Chestnut Hill Book Festival happens on Sat, July 9 & Sun, July 10.

Advisory: Author George Anastasia has had to cancel.

How much?

Most of the events are free but some workshops may have a fee.

 

Kids Festival

For children, a special Kids Festival will appear on Saturday, July 9th 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Jenks Playground where there will be music, hot dogs and nationally recognized authors/illustrators Ponder Goembel-11 a.m., Matt Phelan-1 p.m., Jason Deeble 2 p.m., David Lubar-Noon and the Barr sisters Sarah and Susan 10 a.m.

There will also be a special appearance by Kathy O’Connell of WXPN’s Kids Corner
