Body found at Delaware recycling facility

Delaware State Police are trying to determine how a body ended up at All Star Shredding and Recycling in New Castle.

Workers found the body around 9 a.m. amid piles of cardboard and paper recyclable material in a sorting area at the facility on Dock View Drive.  The body was removed and turned over to the Medical Examiner to determine the cause and manner of death.

Police identify the body as a white male, about 40 to 50 years old.  It’s not clear where the material that the body was found in came from.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Major Crimes Unit at Troop 2 at 302-834-2630 or the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-TIP-3333.
