The kittens who live underneath the Atlantic City boardwalk have been reported safe after heavy rain and strong wind gusts from Hurricane Irene went through the area.

The “boardwalk kittens,” who have been known to live underneath the boardwalk, were found huddled together by Fox 29 reporter Steve Keeley.

Fox 29 says the cats are typically fed by residents and tourists.
