Ready for the return of Nucky with a Boardwalk Empire Tasting Menu

On Sept. 16, Boardwalk Empire, the HBO show (very) loosely based on Atlantic City’s Prohibition history, premieres its third season. Atlantic City, of course, has worked to cash in on the show’s fame. Resorts installed a Roaring 20s theme last year, and Caesars is hosting a free premier party on Sept. 15, a day before it airs on HBO.

One of the more interesting – and tasty – promotions is a Boardwalk Empire Tasting Menu, being offered by Chelsea Prime at the Chelsea in Atlantic City Sept. 13-15.

It’s a five-course meal that doesn’t scrimping on options: oyster, caviar, foie gras, roasted bone marrow, lobster and beef wellington, are all menu options. The price isn’t too steep for those options, either: $65 per person.

They’re running happy hour specials on classic cocktails, too, if you’re just looking for a retro-themed drink.
