Birthday photos
Hundreds, maybe thousands, of folks in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware got their first taste of NewsWorks last month during mini-celebrations at coffee shops, bakeries and other public spots around the region.
The one thing the event confirmed is that NewsWorks has a very, very sweet tooth. There were Krispy Kreme Donuts and Whipped Bakery cookies and towering birthday cakes.
Folks signed up to win an iPad and just generally got an introduction to NewsWorks, which has created a stir in the local media scene since its launch on Nov. 15, 2010.
