Biden, Christie make Time’s ‘100 most influential’ list

There are 100 people, as usual, on Time magazine’s list of influential people. Some are familiar to us by name, political movement or popular song. Others live in our area and oversee our laws.

N.J. Gov. Chris Christie made the 2011 list, as did Delaware native Vice President Joe Biden. He joins both Barack and Michelle Obama on the list.

Lisa Jackson, head of the federal Environmental Protection Agency who visited Philadelphia yesterday, is also there. So is Tiger Mom Amy Chua, Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and Wikileaks’ Julian Assange.

But it’s not all heavy stuff. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings and yes, Justin Bieber, are on the list as well.
