Bicycle and pedestrian plan before Philadelphia City Planning Commission

Two planning meetings hosted by the Philadelphia City Planning Commission will serve as an opportunity for members of the community to share concerns and ideas about biking and walking in Philadelphia.

The first meeting will be Monday October 4th at 6:30 p.m. at the Coral Streets Arts House, corner of Coral and Hagert Streets. The second session will be Tuesday October 5th at 6 p.m. at the Lawncrest Branch Library, 6098 Rising Sun Avenue (at Benner Street). These meetings will be addressing the biking and walking needs of Northeast Philadelphia resident.

The planning meetings addressing the needs of West Philadelphia citizens will be held as follows:

On Wednesday, October 20th 6 p.m., Wynnefield Branch Library, 5325 Overbrook Avenue and on Thursday, October 21st 5 p.m., Kingsessing Branch Library, 51st Street between Chester and Kingsessing Avenues.
