Authorities: 3rd person dies in New Jersey bus-car collision

Authorities say a third person has died from injuries suffered when a New Jersey Transit bus and a car collided near Atlantic City yesterday afternoon.

The Press of Atlantic City reports the 17-year-old girl died at the hospital Monday night, several hours after the crash occurred in Pleasantville, N.J. just west of A.C. Authorities say the girl and the two others killed in the crash were all passengers in the car.

The car was northbounbd on Franklin Boulevard when it swerved for unknown reasons and struck the bus. The car then flipped around but remained upright.

Five people were in the car, including two people who remain hospitalized. About 10 people were on the bus.
